There is at least one person on your friends list that wants to fuck the hell out of you. So, let's play the Fuck or Pass game. The rules are simple. My best friend from Michigan, Lauren, is in a corset competition. She'd really like your vote.

"Versatile Fashions is one of the US's top corset-makers. During July, they ran a "Show Us Your Stuff" contest, where people who have a VF corset could take a photo and send it in. Their staff chose 20 finalists out of all the applicants. I'm very happy, proud, and thrilled to be one of the finalists! Now, the vote for the top three goes to the public for voting. This is where it gets sticky.

To vote for Lauren, here's what you'll need to do.
1. Have a myspace.
2. Add versatilefashions.com as a friend on myspace.

the past few weeks i've been tutoring 12-16 h/w. 3 of my students just ended. 1 new one began. next week i have only 7 hours scheduled. not many new people sign up until about midterms. i hate money.

laptop drama

my laptop broke tonight at approx 630pm. physically broke. i closed the lid and something popped out. when i opened it up, the screen pulled up away from the keyboard. suck. so i called my favorite computer geek insertclevernes and hurried over there. yup, no way to fix it. luckily i could still turn it on so i could copy all my documents, pics, etc onto a memory stick. then over to micro center. i have a brand new laptop now. lenovo, 15.4, a whole bunch of other stuff that i don't really understand. windows vista which is very much annoying me right now. at least until i get used to it.

laptop, 3-year warranty, laptop sleeve, printer/scanner/copy machine all for $625, with $70 in rebates coming back to me. w/o R tonight, i woulda been screwed, frustrated, very lost and spending way too much money for a new comp.

I started a new student today. My new student is another home schooler, this one in geometry. I realize that I'm the biggest nerd ever by saying this, but: I miss geometry. It's been over 2 weeks since I've taught it. I would teach that anyday over biology. Though probability w one of my other students isn't bad either.

I now have 6 students totaling 16 h/w. Still all on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Today I had 8.5 billable hours and 3.5 hours driving.

Things are good. i'm very happy.

Actually spending the night at my place. getting some things done. having lunch w my mom tomorrow. considering i lived at her house for 10 months until I moved out Feb 1st, seeing her once a week or less is odd for me.

I'll be at the tngc munch tom night. now that I actually have control over my tutoring schedule, I can make it for most of the foreseeable future.

I love reading. One of the things I teach is a study skills curriculum. When I have to teach about active reading, my students just don't get it. Because they don't like to read. The best way to become a better reader is to read. So find something you like. Tear yourself away from the tv and read. Use your imagination. *this is not directed at you, but to my students who have never read a book that wasn't assigned to them* grrr

you would think that since its the begining of the summer, i would have less tutoring clients. not really. i havve 5 students, for a total of 12 hrs a week. so i decided i'd make things compact and have all my appointments on tuesdays and wednesdays. sounds great, then i'll have sun, mon, and thursdays free (gd on fri and sat).
works in theory. today i left insertclevernes's place @ 8:30 and just got to my mom's to use her comp @ 6p. I worked 6.5 hrs today. and drove for 4. lemont to calumet city to monee to hazel crest to frankfort to homewood.

i wasnt able to make the train to finally make it to the happy hour in the loop. maybe one day.

tonight is the first night i'll be sleeping at my place in june. i want snuggles. R left today for MI and i won't see him til monday at the earliest. *pout*

appearently enemas are crazy popular, because more people have rsvp'ed for this saturday's social/educational event than any before EVER! so i will be going insane saturday. if you're there, awesome! but just know, i will be going insane trying to keep everything organized and running smoothly.

i will be at the munch tomorrow, early even.

tonight i was supposed to go swing dancing w R and one or two others. we went early so we could get something to eat. next to willowbrook was a place w "fine italian dining". mediocre food, expensive for what it was worth, it took forever, and horrible service. if the waitress doesnt ask to take your order until 10 minutes after she dropped off appitizers, that's not good.

ok, so we finally get out of there and the lesson would have already started ten minutes ago. as we walk in, the guy taking the money says "i hope you have other shoes in your car" um, no. "sorry, no flip-flops allowed, insurance reasons" i wasnt ecstatic about the idea of swing dancing in sandals, but thats all i had w me at R's. "my closest shoes are over 45-minutes away" "sorry, bye" what a waste of time.

what really annoys me is that their website doesn't mention it, or any kind of dress-code at all.

at least i got thoroughly abused tonight (in a good way). otherwise the whole night woulda pissed me off.

The insanity that is finals is over! (for the students I tutor, that is.) This means that I will actually be able to make the munch. I'll actually be able to plan things on weeknights. I am down students, but still have 4. And I've coordinated it so that all my tutoring appointments are during the day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Hopefully I'll pick up some more students when summer school gets underway, since I'm working less hours than before, thus making less money. But for now, I'm enjoying relaxing, sleeping in, reading, and spending time w insertclevernes.

I'm not sure how many of you I've talked to about it, but I've been keeping a food diary since the beginning of February. It began as a way for me to see exactly how much I was eatting and how much of it was junk. DAMN! Much more that I realized. So I started trying to cut down on snacks, eat healthier. I started eatting lean cuisines and healthy choice (which there are quite a few that taste pretty good). I started walking and would track how far I walked. Now I haven't been walking much in the past month, but I've been getting plenty of other exercize. Lately I haven't been as stringent b/c insertclevernes and I eat out quite a bit.

I don't own a scale. I'm not someone who constantly weighs myself. But today I stopped by my mom's to pick up some mail that was sent there and I actually remembered to go upstairs and use her scale.

I've lost 20 lbs since the beginning of Feb!!!

I know I still have quite a bit I'd like to loose, but that just makes me so happy. The only other time I really tried to lose weight, I used weight watchers, and it worked really well. I also had a co-worker who was doing it w me. My schedule is so all over the place and my money is fairly tight, so I decided not to go that route. So the fact that I've been doing fairly well on my own makes me all smiley. So if I buckle down some more, I might be able to hit my goal by the end of summer. (Not my end goal, but a very significant one nonetheless)

insertclevernes and i went to the most beautiful place on earth yesterday. we quickly realized we wanted the biggest, heaviest, thuddiest flogger we could find. we went through the entire place and found the perfect one. it's from toolworks. its black, has a huge aluminum handle, 64 falls, and the falls are 2 - 2.5 feet each (all one length, we just don't have measuring tape). he also got sap gloves and a few other small things. and more condoms that you can shake a stick at. actually, i talked to the howard brown booth and they gave me over a hundred condoms so i could stock up GD.

oh, and i also got tons of free gay porn!

much goodness. except after working friday night, getting 3.5 hrs sleep, IMLing sat, then working at night, we were massive tired. so we haven't been able to christen the new purchases yet.

i just woke up from a really odd dream. i was starting college and was in a drama class. The prof gave me a huge part in a Shakespeare play. a week later he decided he wanted me to be a huge part in a play he wrote instead. a week or so before the performance, the girl who had taken over my part got hit by a car, so he begged me to take it back. after 2 days, he realized i would never learn the part in time and gave me the option of giving it to someone else so i wouldn't "ruin the entire play". i did, though was secretly very upset that i had to do this. and somehow he still gave me an A. i was so happy, i gave him a huge hug. and he grabbed my ass. i spent the rest of the dream making sure i was never alone w him. and a few of you were there. i know at least insertclevernesand dayowere in my acting class.

i wonder what this means...
